Cabin in the Pines

I was surprised it had been 2 weeks since I blogged.  It felt like 2 days.  Do your days go by as fast as mine??!

I finished Jan Patek's Cabin in the Pines.  It was a fun quilt to make with typical Jan large applique pieces.

I still need to add some details like eyes for the snowman but will do that later.

Now that I'm finished with that project, I think it's time to get back to my album quilt.  I have the templates cut for a border and think next week I will start a dreaded border.

  1. I like this one. Is it all cotton or is it wool and cotton? You always do a beautiful job and I have missed hearing from you. When I'm busy, boy do the days fly by. I'll look forward to hearing more you.

  5. The quilt is all cotton but would be very nice with wool applique pieces.
Julee - I'm pretty quick when I focus but last week my focus was tired. LOL
