Sweet Treat Bags

I love to make bags. The more, the merrier. Several months ago I ran across a free bag pattern at Moda's website. I knew I just had to give it a try. Here's my first attempt. Unfortunately, this bag was stolen --maybe they needed a quick gift. I remake it some day.

This one uses Amy Butler and Anna Maria Horner fabric. Very fun!

And if you love polka dots like I do, you HAVE to make a polka dot bag!

This one uses Jo Morton fabric.

The last one is so soft and feminine. I used Lecien fabric for it.
I'm off to make one more bag and then I gotta' stop!

I did it!!

After a lot of friendly persuasion, I decided to take the plunge and start blogging. I hope you enjoy reading about what I've been up to.

I am posting a photo of a quilt I made several months ago. It is entitled Friends for Christmas and was designed by Lynette Anderson from Australia http://www.lynetteandersondesigns.typepad.com/. She is in town this week teaching at The Rabbit's Lair so I thought it was only appropriate to share a photo of my interpretation of her lovely pattern. The Rabbit's Lair 479-636-3385 http://www.therabbitslair.com/ is offering this as a block of the month and still has a few openings.
The quilt was quilted by Darlene of Sew Graceful Quilting http://www.sewgracefulquilting.com/. Nice, huh?
