I'm very honored to have a quilt in the summer issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine.
I'm on page 56.
If you'd like the magazine and/or a kit, you can get one here. I'm making lots of gingerbread ornaments today but will be back later this week to visit.
Kudos to you! I have one older issue of this publication as I've not seen it for sale anywhere but the quilt shop that is where I used to live. It is such a nice one.
Hi Connie When the magazine first came out, it was available only in quilt shops. They've expanded their market and it's now available at Barnes and Noble (or so I'm told). I always buy mine at my local shop but know everyone's not as lucky as me to have a local shop. If you ever need a copy mailed, check out www.sewgracefulquilting.com. Darlene will be happy to send one to you. Kay
I knew you would be famous one day. I saw the cover of this magazine on another one of my blog frieds. I thought I love that little quilt on the front, It would go really great on my table in my sewing room. Then I read your blog. How wonderful Kay. Your quilts should be featured all the time. You do such amazing work. I need to stop by and get the magazine since I "know" someone in it plus love quilt. I might not quilt it tomorrow or next year....but my boys are getting bigger. Meaning Brandon is now taller than me. How did that happen? Anyway Congratulations. Hope to see more of your quilts.
Sorry Kay, My friend had a couple of pics of her favorites... and it was the coxcomb one. I just loved it so much that it should have been on the cover. HEHE
Hi Tomi Thanks! I often wonder how that growing up happens so quickly....too quickly! I still remember taking care of Brandon's pink eye---seems like just a few months ago. Kay
I have the magazine, and absolutely love your quilt!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie. Just noticed your little picture next to your name. Very interesting motif!
DeleteCongratulations Kay! What an honor for your quilt to be featured in the magazine! (it's beautiful)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I was pretty surprised when Jeni from the magazine took the time to personally call and tell me the quilt had been accepted.
DeleteYour quilt is one of the best in the magazine. I look forward to seeing more of your quilts in this publication.
