I changed the finishing on this Americana Sampler.
This piece is actually finished now. This photo shows it in progress - I added the acorns and quilted it.
All of these pieces were quick and easy to sew. Best of all, I could quilt them all on my sewing machine.
I'm working on putting together a block of the month and will have photos of that soon. After that, I'll FINALLY get to work on Friends of Baltimore. Be still my heart!
I like each of the pieces you made. I looked at Renee's website but I don't see a pattern anything like the farm scene you made. Must be from an older pattern or book.
ReplyDeleteI love the American Sampler. You sure have been busy. About how long does it take you to do one of these smaller projects?
ReplyDeleteKaren - Actually the Liberty Star is a new pattern that came out at fall quilt market. Renee's website is not real current - she's probably busy designing for spring market! We will have the pattern and kit available at http://www.sewgracefulquilting.com soon.
ReplyDeleteTomi - I'm pretty quick with small projects. Just guessing but probably 4-6 hours start to finish. These are all samples for Sew Graceful (you know me - I make BIG projects for myself).
